Hi! My name is Isabel. I am the person behind Gypsy Tailor!

I am so happy to welcome you to this space where you can find my handmade products, my blog and join in my creative journey! In my blog you will find sewing tips, latest sewing projects or sewing ideas that I hope inspire you to sew!

All the items you see here are designed and made by me. Sewing has been part of my life for a long time. Since my very first sewing project I have not stopped sewing! My online shop on Etsy is the place where I have been able to show my work and connect with many customers around the world. For me it is so rewarding to know one of my items will be a special gift for someone or an item that someone will value and use. Every sale means the world to me and encourages me to work even harder!

I also look forward to connect with other makers through the joy of sewing and creativity!

In my About page you will find out more about me, my work and my travels as my family and I have been moving around the world, living in different countries for the past 18 years. We have been back in our home in the States for 2 years and in 2027 we will move again!

I believe we are in this world to follow our dreams!

I am working toward my second year as a participating artist in the Over the Mountain Studio Tour. My sewing room is always busy and a little messy—but I like to call it a happy mess! Ideas, creativity, fabrics, and threads come together under my hands, and as always, I put my best energy, care, and love into every piece, because sewing is not just my work, it’s truly what I love to do.
